Vacation at last!
As I flew west from Charlotte and then Chicago, it occurred to me that Shana and the boys had covered a tremendous number of miles through some pretty rugged terrain in their two weeks on the road. This is indeed a vast country, and from 30,000 feet you really get a sense of the distances you have to cover to get anywhere. So, kudos to Shana for making the 2500-mile airport run to Spokane to pick me up!
